  Dow Jones reported Friday that Toyota Motor (NYSE:TM) said it has received verifiable information from US authorities that some vehicle owners have experienced unintended acceleration even after their cars had been fixed under two major recalls. The US Department of Transportation said Wednesday it was investigating recent complaints of sudden acceleration by Toyota owners whose vehicles have been repaired, though the reports were still considered unverified. Toyota noted that, though it has received some verifiable information since then, most of the reports remain unverified and that it has "moved quickly to evaluate the vehicles and interview the owners." Toyota went on to say that its evaluations have found "no evidence" of a failure of the vehicle electronic throttle control system, recent recall remedies or cars' brake override feature.

  Toyota announce one day a massive recall, the very next day General Motors is airing on television commercials exploiting the recall. Coincidental? Hmmmmm? Chrysler and General Motors are basically owned by the US government which is currently controlled by the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party and the Obama administrating beholding to the unions. The United Auto Workers union has Toyota in their cross-hairs because Toyota factories in the United States are not unionized. This contributes to two reasons the Democrats in Congress are exploiting the Toyota recall. Toyota is a Government Motors competitor, and to please the United Auto Workers union. This is nothing but exploitation by the Democrats and the UAW. Toyota's President Akio Toyoda and Toyotas chief executive of North America Yoshimi Inaba have been called before Congress. This is an attempt to increase the sales of General Motors and Chrysler automobiles while hurting Toyota sales.   Congressional hearings into the Toyota recalls continue Wednesday when the head of the world's largest automaker testifies before US lawmakers. Toyota president Akio Toyoda is expected to face tough questions amid allegations that the company knew of problems involving unintended acceleration but failed to act quickly to resolve them. An auto safety expert scheduled to testify on Wednesday says Toyota's problems should serve as a warning to the entire auto industry. voa's Mil Arcega reports.
