
Hello, Kitty: Jaguar Builds an XJ EV

Is there enough room for Jaguar to join the EV party? Granted it is getting crowded. Ferrari is building a hybrid . Tesla Motors is going public and still promising us the Model S even if it is dropping the Roadster . Nissan’s Leaf is getting support from the feds and will be here in December. GM is not just building the Chevrolet Volt, it’s getting into the electric motor business . Even the post office is joining the fun. So why shouldn’t Jaguar build an electric car too? Or, more specifically, a range-extended EV. According to the chaps at Autocar UK , Jag is working on an all-electric version of the new XJ (pictured).
