Pininfarina CEO Says Electric Car Still on Track for 2011 Debut
Legendary Italian carmaker, Pininfarina, may yet have some surprises up its sleeves. Even with recent financial difficulties , Pininfarina’s CEO, Silvio Pietro Angori, told Italian newspaper, Il Sole 24 , that the company’s Bluecar electric car venture with french investor Vincent Bollore is not simply a concept car and still on track for a 2011 market debut . BlueCar Voice Control and Simulator...IBM CVUT Student Research Projects: BlueCar Voice Control and Simulator by Tomáš Chytil and Vladislav Malaník BlueCar is a mobile robot with remote BlueTooth control. The robot carries bidirectional audio port (microphone and speaker) which is connected over BlueTooth to remote computer with IBM speech recognition technology installed. This robot is intended as a helper for intelligent rooms. We have created scripts to voice control the robot using Opera browser with VoiceXML and TTS and a simulator program, which can be used to interpret voice commands when BlueCar is not available.
